Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S26 series - Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra - with a clear theme running through the launch: making day-to-day phone use feel more direct, with more help happening in the background.
At the top of the lineup, the Galaxy S26 Ultra introduces a standout first for the company: a built-in Privacy Display, designed to make it harder for people beside you to read what’s on your screen in shared spaces.
Alongside the phones, Samsung also announced the Galaxy Buds4 series - Galaxy Buds4 and Galaxy Buds4 Pro - bringing a new fit design and updated noise control and call features, with deeper integration across Galaxy devices.

Galaxy S26: a more “hands-off” feel to everyday tasks
Samsung’s Galaxy S26 streamlines tasks with proactive Galaxy AI, reducing the steps between intent and action. Key features include Now Nudge for timely suggestions, Now Brief for personalised reminders, upgraded Circle to Search with multi-object recognition, and conversational control via Bixby, Gemini, and Perplexity.
The headline feature: built-in Privacy Display on Galaxy S26 Ultra
The biggest “new hardware experience” lands on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, with Samsung introducing its built-in Privacy Display - privacy protection designed into the screen itself rather than relying on stick-on films.
Privacy Display is framed around everyday situations and user control - with options to hide the full screen, selected apps, incoming notifications, or sensitive actions like entering PINs and passwords.

A camera story built around capture and edits
Samsung positions the Galaxy S26 camera around end-to-end workflows. For the S26 Ultra, it highlights wider apertures for low-light capture, Nightography Video improvements, enhanced Super Steady stabilisation, and Photo Assist for natural-language edits with continuous review.
Security and privacy: more layers, more transparency
Samsung highlights security with Galaxy AI, continuing to build on Samsung Knox. On-device protections include the Personal Data Engine and app-level safeguards. User-facing features include AI-powered call screening, privacy alerts for sensitive permission access, and expanded post-quantum cryptography across system processes. The series also offers seven years of security updates.
Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro: new fit design, upgraded audio, smarter controls

Launching with the Galaxy S26, the Galaxy Buds4 series combines comfort, sound quality and adaptive controls for everyday use.
Redesigned Fit and Controls
The new “blade” design was developed using large-scale ear shape data and thousands of simulations to improve stability and all-day comfort. Fit styles differ by model: Buds4 Pro features a canal-fit design, while Buds4 uses an open-fit design. Tactile touches include pinch controls on the blade and a semi-transparent charging case to make placement and charging easier to check at a glance.
Audio Enhancements and Ecosystem Integration
Buds4 Pro introduces a wider woofer, enhanced Active Noise Cancellation and an upgraded Adaptive EQ. Super Clear Call uses machine learning to reduce background noise and enhance voice clarity. The Buds integrate with Galaxy devices through voice controls for AI agents such as Bixby and Gemini, quick settings, and shortcut menus. Buds4 Pro also supports Head Gesture controls for managing calls and interacting hands-free.
