The ROG Harpe Ace Aim Labs Edition Wireless Gaming Mouse is the latest creation from ASUS Republic of Gamers co-developed with the developers who designed Aim Lab, an aim trainer that improves your clicking, tracking and target switching skills. Improving your aim enhances your performance when playing popular titles such as Apex Legends, Overwatch 2 & Valorant.
The result of this collaboration is an ultralight wireless gaming mouse with a featherweight of 54 grams, achieved by the innovative bio based nylon material which makes up the outer shell.
The shape of the mouse is symmetrical in shape with a medium sized rear hump, suitable for the majority of grip types and most hand sizes. In terms of performance, the ASUS ROG Harpe Ace has low click latency thanks to the high quality ROG Micro Switches with a 70 million click lifespan, paired with a ROG AimPoint optical sensor with industry-leading < 1% cpi deviation to deliver an incredibly snappy and responsive in-game experience.
Looking at the rest of the features, the Harpe Ace has textured grips along the sides of the mouse to provide better control during fine micro adjustments. The mouse also comes with additional grip tape for the primary left and right click buttons plus sides of the mouse for those who need even more grip for longer and intense gaming sessions. Additional PTFE feet which include a large mouse foot are also provided for those who prefer the larger contact area for a seamless glide with little resistance.
An important thing to note that we found during our unboxing of this mouse is that the PTFE feet have a thin layer of protective transparent plastic covering the skates which need to be removed so that you can have a smooth and seamless glide experience.
Connectivity options for the Harpe Ace can be changed at the bottom of the mouse and include a USB A to USB wired connection, 2.4GHz wireless via a USB dongle and also Bluetooth for those who already have an array of other devices occupying the USB ports of their PC.
For those who want further customization of the Harpe Ace, this can be done via the free ASUS ROG Armoury Crate software to adjust performance and surface calibration settings, program and map specific buttons, customise Aura Sync RGB lighting effects, and more.
