JBL has just dropped a range of true wireless earbuds, and it’s safe to say no one has been left out. With a wide selection of options, there are earbuds for everyone here, emphasising comfort, sound quality, style and more. Whether you’re looking for top-of-the-range offerings or something that’s easier on the wallet, you definitely won’t be disappointed.
Let’s dive in and see what’s unique about each of the new offerings from JBL…
The Premium Choice: JBL Tour Pro 3
At the top of JBL’s pecking order, the Tour Pro 3s are a premium choice catering to those who need high-quality sound and style. Available in either a Latte or Black colourway, the Tour Pro 3 provides listeners with JBL’s signature audio quality, enhanced by dual drivers in each earbud. Together they combine to handle whatever you throw at them, offering a deep and immersive sound that stays clear across bass, mids, and treble. These really are a suitable choice for work or play. There’s also JBL Spatial Sound 360 and True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0, both of which collaborate to create the premium listening experience you get with the Tour Pro 3s. Spatial Surround 360, complete with head tracking, transforms stereo sound into an immersive experience, while True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0 helps you focus on whatever you’re listening to, and then tune back into your environment when necessary. You can of course tweak this, as well as other settings, with the JBL Headphones app.
Unique to the Tour Pro 3 series, you get a smart case that features a touchscreen display for easy controls without reaching for your phone. The case is unique, and for many, it’s a big factor when deciding to go for the Tour Pro 3. One of the cool new features that the Smart Charging Case offers is the ability to wirelessly transmit audio to your earbuds from any USB-C or AUX source. You can plug into devices like a TV, a plane/gym entertainment system, or more, and enjoy media content as the case wirelessly transmits. This is no doubt a game-changer for those who like to be able to listen with flexibility when they’re on the go.
With the Tour Pro 3, you can listen all day, while enjoying the benefits of ANC, with up to 8 hours of playtime, which can be topped up with an additional 24 hours of juice, courtesy of your charging case. If the Tour Pros do run out, simply plug them in (or don’t, they do support wireless charging too) and get another 3 hours from just a quick 10-minute charge. With ANC off, the Tour Pro 3s will get you 11 hours of battery life, plus another 33 hours from the case.

Mid-Range and Budget-Friendly: JBL Tune and Wave Series
If you’re not looking to invest in a high-end set of earphones like the Tour Pro 3, JBL has the Tune and Wave series. The Wave is a great value option for those who don’t want to break the bank, while the Tune is a good mid-range option. Let’s check them out…
JBL’s Wave, Tune & Live TWS earbuds range all offer three different earbud styles, each with its own unique fit, to ensure there’s an option for everyone. There’s the Flex, the Buds and the Beam, all designed to cater to a range of needs. The coolest part is that JBL’s online Fit Checker, which will give you valuable insight into the right fit for you, is free to use and provides an instant recommendation from JBL. While the different fit types do mostly share common features, it’s important to get one that fits you comfortably, so you can focus on what matters most, the listening experience.
TUNE SERIES
All styles in the Tune series are equipped with JBL's Pure Bass Sound, delivering deep and powerful audio that enhances any music genre. The Flex option gets 12mm drivers, while the Buds and Beam options get 10mm drivers. Additionally, they feature JBL Spatial Sound, providing an immersive listening experience that makes you feel as though you're in the centre of the action. Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) technology with Smart Ambient is standard across the series too, again allowing you to block out unwanted noise or stay aware of your surroundings without removing the earbuds. The Tune range all come with 6 microphones, ensuring crystal-clear call quality and a customised calling experience with features like environmental noise cancellation and echo suppression algorithms, which enhance the quality of your conversations dramatically. Other shared features in the range include multi-point connectivity, which allows you to simultaneously connect and switch seamlessly between multiple devices, and compatibility with voice assistants for hands-free control. All three styles are IP54 water and dust-resistant, ensuring you can use them even in rainy and windy conditions.

JBL Tune Flex: Designed for those who prefer an open-ear fit, the Tune Flex provides up to 8 hours of playback time, with an additional 24 hours from the charging case, with ANC on. With ANC turned off, you can get 12 hours of play time plus an additional 36 hours from the case.
JBL Tune Beam: Featuring a stick design, the Tune Beam ensures a secure and comfortable in-ear fit. There’s a touch more battery life on offer here. Even with ANC on, you can enjoy up to 10 hours of continuous playback, with an extra 30 hours provided by the charging case. Turn it off, and those numbers jump up to 12 hours of listening time with an additional 36 hours, courtesy of the case.
JBL Tune Buds: Lastly, with a traditional earbud design, the Tune Buds offer the same battery life as the Tune Beam, with 10 hours of playback (ANC on) from a single charge, and an additional 30 hours available via the charging case. Battery capacity is also the same as the Tune Beam with ANC on (12+36 hours).

If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option to the JBL Tune series, the Wave series offers a lot of the same great quality at a lower price point.
WAVE SERIES
JBL's Wave series offers the same selection of true wireless earbuds in three different fit styles, like the Tune series, designed to cater towards your listening preference. All models in the Wave series are equipped with JBL's Deep Bass Sound, delivering powerful and immersive audio across different music genres. They also feature Smart Ambient technology, which includes Ambient Aware and TalkThru modes, allowing you to stay aware of your surroundings or engage in conversations without removing your earbuds.

Each model offers the same in terms of total battery life as well. With up to 40 hours of total battery time, 10 hours from the earbuds themselves and an additional 30 hours from the charging case, you can rest assured that the JBL Wave series won’t let you down throughout the day.
Fit-wise, the Wave Flex, Beam and Buds are identical in shape to their ‘Tune’ series namesakes. So that means a flexible and open-ear fit with the Wave Flex, a stick-design with an in-ear fit in the Wave Beam, and lastly a traditional and compact bud-style in the Wave Buds.
