You’ve probably heard of Segway before - they create an awesome range of electric scooters, eBikes, go karts, and even unicycles that make getting around the city both quick and fun. Designed with eco-friendly technology and user-friendly features, these personal transportation devices have gained popularity among commuters, university students, and urban dwellers. They're easy-to-use and perfect for short trips, helping reduce street congestion and emissions; they have a lightweight design and foldable nature that make most models convenient to carry and store when not in use, perfect for modern city life; and they’re a more affordable transportation solution than a motor vehicle.

Earlier this year, Segway once again raised the bar on their offerings, introducing new and improved iterations of some of their most popular electric scooters. Some of these new Segway Ninebot KickScooters have just landed at PB Tech, including the E2 Plus, F2, F2 Pro, and MAX G2 - let’s take a look at what’s on offer, from the least to most powerful!

Segway Ninebot KickScooter E2 Plus

The Segway Ninebot KickScooter E2 series is ideal for those with less distance to cover. Coming in noticeably cheaper than the F2 and G2 series, the E2 models are intended to make electric scooters accessible to everyone. The E2 Plus has all the necessary features for covering short distances and is perfect for inner city travelers. It has a 300W motor, a 12% climbing range, a maximum speed of 25km/h, and a maximum distance of 25km on a single charge. It’s also equipped with an electronic double brake system, 8.1-inch puncture-proof and maintenance-free tyres, and a new 2.8-inch dash.

Segway Ninebot KickScooter F2 and F2 Pro

The Segway Ninebot KickScooter F2 series is made for daily commuting and outdoor riding - a great choice for those who need something that’s more powerful with a longer range. The new F2 series has seen some pretty big upgrades. While they still look very similar on the outside, the components on the inside tell a different story. The main differences can be found in the motor and battery.

The new F2 model sports an 800W motor, an 18% climbing angle, a maximum distance of up to 40km on a single charge, and a maximum speed of up to 25km/h, though overclocking lets you take it up to 30km/h. The F2 Pro sports a 900W motor, a 22% climbing range, a maximum distance of up to 55km on a single charge, and a maximum speed of up to 25km/h, and when overclocked, it goes up to 32km/h.

Additionally, the new F2 series is equipped with wider handlebars for improved stability, a wider footboard, built-in front and rear indicators, a horn, 10-inch tubeless tyres, and integration with Apple’s Find My technology. As one of Segway Ninebot's flagship KickScooter products, it also features automobile-class Traction Control Systems (TCS) for the first time. TCS enhances rider control, ensuring stability even on slippery surfaces and preventing unexpected loss of control.

Segway Ninebot Kickscooter MAX G2

The new Segway Ninebot Kickscooter MAX G2 is the successor to the Max G30 and it has really stepped things up a notch! The motor on the new MAX G2 delivers 900W of power, a 22% climbing range, a maximum distance of 70km on a single charge, and a maximum speed of up to 25km/h, though overclocking can increase this up to 35km/h. Other improvements include front and rear suspension, higher and wider handlebars for more stability, left and right indicators, an electric horn, a wider footboard, RideyLong technology, integration with Apple’s Find My Network, and automobile-class Traction Control Systems (TCS). TCS improves the rider's control, providing stability on slippery surfaces and preventing sudden loss of control. This groundbreaking feature sets them apart from other KickScooters and offers users a safer, more precise, and enjoyable riding experience.
