Xiaomi has teamed up with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 Team to release a collaboration of their flagship Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2. Combining design elements from the Mercedes F1 team with Xiaomi's world-leading scooter engineering, you can now zoom around in true style.

“We are extremely excited to bring the Mercedes F1 experience closer to our fans,” said Chris Church, President of Brand Partnerships (APAC) for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 team. “Like us, Xiaomi is committed to continuous innovation and we are delighted to work alongside them to bring to the market this new edition of their flagship Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2.”’

The Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 is already known to be a powerful and punchy scooter, with an impressive range; and this special edition adds unique style with teal accents and the distinctive Mercedes-AMG branding near the rear wheel. Xiaomi has injected the speed and precision from the racing track, into the design and craftsmanship of the scooter, with lines placed to adopt an aerodynamic design reminiscent of a sports car.

It’s not just designed with visual appeal in mind though; the Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 is built with components that pursue ultimate performance and speed. The scooter outputs 600W of instantaneous power that’s capable of taking heavy loads, as well as climbing 20% incline slopes effortlessly. It’s also geared up with a 12,800mAh long-range battery that can take you up to 45km on a single charge while travelling at a max speed of 25km/hr.

The scooter is as much about safety and efficiency as it is about speed and performance. The safety mechanisms of racing cars embody the rigour and precision of mechanical craftsmanship. In the same manner, the scooter's reliable double braking system has been carefully built with safety in mind. When braking, the front and rear braking systems activate one after another, shortening the braking distance ensuring safe stopping. Better yet, the kinetic energy recovery system (KERS) recovers the kinetic energy of each braking and non-powered coasting and converts it into usable electrical energy.

Other features that’ll improve the riding experience include puncture-resistant tyres; 2W ultra-bright headlight; and a built-in LCD screen that feeds you information such as your real-time speed and battery level, and it can also be used to control different ride modes or to configure the dual brake system.

If you’re looking for a powerful electric scooter with a unique design, head over to the Xiaomi store!
