The newest addition to the Nintendo Switch family has been revealed and it’s set to hit stores on 8 October 2021. The Nintendo Switch OLED Model will be gracing the shelves later this year with, you guessed it, a 7-inch OLED display. That means a bigger screen, vivid colours, and high contrast; but of course, that’s not all. Nintendo released a trailer for the new Nintendo Switch earlier this year that you can check out below. We don’t want you to miss out, so we’ve now opened pre-orders so you can secure one for yourself!

Pre-orders are currently in lockdown, but they’ll be back up soon, and if you’ve been wanting to get Nintendo switch, this latest OLED switch is the one you’ve been waiting for!

With the screen being one of the key components of the Switch, it should come as no surprise that Nintendo decided to make it prettier with an OLED display, and larger (the display is now 7-inches up from 6.2-inches). Nintendo claims the new screen is more vibrant, delivering vivid colours and crisp contrast as you play. This means you should get an enhanced experience as you race at top speed or square off against enemies.

A wider kickstand is another addition to the new Switch. It’s much wider than the original Switch, which means more stability as you use your Switch in tablet mode. Not only that, but the kickstand is now adjustable so you can find the best angle for your game.

If you like having a big library of games, you’ll love the upgraded storage. The new Nintendo Switch OLED model has 64 GB of internal storage, up from 32GB. If you have a serious game collection, don’t worry, there’s still the option to use a microSD card too.

Other additions include a LAN port so you can hook up to the internet for faster internet and stability, and enhanced audio.
