The all-digital Xbox One S, is much like a regular Xbox One S console but without the expensive Blu-Ray player.
As a disc-free gaming system, we'll be installing our games onto the 1TB HDD directly from the Xbox Game Store with this one - and with all the games nowadays getting a digital release on the same day as the physical disc versions (which always seem to need a massive update anyway) the gaming experience is unchanged. The all-digital Xbox One S still supports 4K Ultra HD, HDR and Dolby Atmos, but it's no longer going to be your go-to media player for Blu-Ray movies though.. so if you're interested in this feature the classic version of the Xbox One S is the right one for you :)
Removing the Blu-Ray hardware benefits the price of course - so if you're only in it for the gaming, this All-Digital version is a top choice! You'll still be able to stream your favourite Netflix shows, and those fine folks at Microsoft spiced the offer up by including 3x games with the new console.
