Tineco Floor One S7 Stretch Review

The Tineco Floor One S7 Stretch is a cordless wet-and-dry floor cleaner that takes the hassle out of mopping.  It combines vacuuming and washing in one pass, making it especially appealing for homes with sealed hard floors like timber, laminate, vinyl, and tile.

It’s not trying to be an all-in-one vacuum replacement, instead, it focuses on making regular floor cleaning quicker, easier, and far less annoying than dragging out a mop and bucket every time something gets spilled.

If your house has a lot of hard areas, it’s a device that saves time and makes everything easy.

PROS CONS
  • Very easy to use
  • Strong everyday suction
  • Smart water control
  • Excellent base station
  • Cleaning solution included
  • Small water tank
  • Not ideal for heavy grime
  • Not a vacuum replacement

Price/Alternative Options

The Floor One S7 Stretch costs $789. That puts it in premium territory for a wet-and-dry floor cleaner.

If that’s out of your price range, some other options that are worth considering are the Shark HydroVac Cordless 3 in 1 Cleaner which comes in a bit cheaper at $499. Then there’s the Roborock Flexi Lite Cordless Wet Dry Vacuum Cleaner which costs $549 and the Xiaomi W20 3- in-1 Wet Dry Mop Vacuum which is even more affordable at $399.

The rotating roller and sealed head design work with the iLoop system to adjust water flow between 20–100 ml per minute, keeping floors clean without over-wetting them.

Controls are positioned directly on the handle, making it easy to switch between Auto, Max, and Suction modes without stopping mid-clean.

Suction Performance

The S7 Stretch boasts up to 21,000 Pa of suction power, which is strong for a wet floor cleaner. It comfortably handles fine dust, hair, crumbs, and liquid spills in a single pass, even while mopping at the same time. But it should not be treated as a primary vacuum. It works best when used as intended, vacuuming and washing hard floors at the same time.

The brush has a DualBlock anti tangle design which helps it cope with long hairs, especially pet hairs, without getting tangled. This works well enough, although like any vacuum cleaner, constantly going over very long hair will eventually and inevitably cause some tangles.

Mopping

For mopping it uses a controlled water flow rate of 20–100 ml per minute, automatically adjusted by its iLoop sensor system. This allows the machine to increase or reduce water output based on how dirty the floor is.

The rotating mop with this smart software works well for everyday cleaning and crucially it avoids over-wetting the floor.

To use it you need to fill the tank with clean water. This is incredibly easy. You just pop it off, fill it up and pop it back on. There’s also a slot to pour in cleaning solution, two bottles are included in the box, which is a nice touch.

The only weakness here is the size of the tank. It's only 1.0L and it can run out relatively quickly in larger spaces, which may require refilling during longer cleaning sessions. In my house where I was mainly focussing on the kitchen and two bathrooms, I got through two cleans before needing to refill it.

The performance is great for constant maintenance, but like the vacuuming, very tough or dried-on grime might require multiple passes and in some cases pre-cleaning. This isn’t a deep scrubber, but the good news is after one hard clean, you can use the S7 to easily maintain cleanliness.

Handling and Ease of Use

Handling is one of the strongest aspects of the Tineco Floor One S7 Stretch. It’s incredibly easy to use thanks mostly to its 180-degree lay-flat design. This means the handle can be fully lowered until it lies almost flat against the floor. This allows the cleaning head and body to slide easily under low furniture such as beds, couches, and cabinets without needing to move them.

When laid flat, the unit reaches down to approximately 13 cm of clearance, making it far more effective at cleaning hard-to-reach areas than upright floor cleaners with limited tilt.

The cleaning head swivels smoothly, and the unit has a self-propelling pull, reducing the effort required during use while remaining easy to control around furniture and tight spaces.

An integrated LED display provides clear, real-time information including cleaning mode, battery level, and system alerts. Controls are simple and positioned on the handle, allowing easy switching between Auto, Max, and Suction modes during cleaning.

And at 4.5 kg, it feels solid without being cumbersome.

The DualBlock anti-tangle brush design helps manage longer hair and pet fur, although like any roller system, very long strands can eventually wrap if pushed hard enough.

The base station is more than just a charger it automatically washes and then dries the roller with 85°C hot air, which is a big reason the S7 is so easy to live with long term.

Battery Performance

The unit uses a 25.2V 3900mAh lithium-ion battery, which allows for around 50 minutes runtime in lighter cleaning modes and around 40 minutes at higher suction levels.

For me, this time was sufficient for routine cleaning but it may be limiting for whole-house cleans in larger homes.

Charging takes approximately 4 to 5 hours, which is pretty standard in the industry, but again is quite long if you have a large house to mop.

Base Station and Self-Cleaning System

The base station is a key part of the Floor One S7 Stretch system and plays a major role in reducing ongoing maintenance. When the cleaner is docked, it automatically begins a roller brush self-cleaning cycle, flushing the brush with clean water to remove dirt, debris, and residual cleaning solution picked up during use.

After washing, the base station dries the roller using 85°C hot air, with the drying cycle completing in approximately 5 minutes. This helps minimise moisture retention, odours, and bacterial build-up, which are common issues with wet floor cleaners that rely on air drying or manual cleaning.

Charging is handled through the same dock, with the base station supplying 35W during charging and up to 620W during the drying process. All functions are automatic, meaning there’s no need to remove or hand-wash the roller brush after each clean.

The 180-degree lay-flat design lets the handle drop almost completely flat, helping the S7 reach under furniture where traditional upright cleaners can’t.

Verdict

The Tineco Floor One S7 Stretch makes a tedious job much easier. Mopping feels faster, more controlled, and requires much less effort than traditional methods, especially when you’re just trying to stay on top of everyday mess rather than do a full deep clean every time.

It won’t suit every home. If you have mostly carpet, very large open spaces, or expect it to deal with heavy, baked-on grime, its limitations around tank size and deep scrubbing will show. It’s also not designed to replace a proper vacuum cleaner.

But if your home has a lot of hard flooring and you want something that makes regular cleaning simple and painless, the S7 Stretch makes a lot of sense. Used as a maintenance cleaner, it does exactly what it’s meant to do and does it very well.
