Elite 8 Active - The world's toughest earbuds*
The latest addition to Jabra’s active range is the Elite 8 Active. These true wireless earbuds are designed to be incredibly durable with an unshakeable fit. Jabra ShakeGrip™ technology offers a secure fit in a wing-free, sleek design, meaning these are made to stay put even when you’re running, jumping, or skipping. They’re capable of taking a thrashing in many ways because they’re also durable and rugged.
The Elite 8 Active earbuds have surpassed the U.S Military Ruggedized Electronics Standard (810H), which involves a range of tests including exposure to high humidity, temperature extremes, and rain. They boast an IP68 rating, meaning they’re dustproof and waterproof up to 1.5m. The charging case, with an IP54 rating, is also dust and splashproof. Successfully enduring the Highly Accelerated Corrosion Testing (HACT), the earbuds also have proven anti-corrosion credentials. This test saw the earbuds passing 11 full cycles of testing, including enduring 2 hours in 40°C temperatures with 93% humidity, going through a 15-minute splash test in salt water, and surviving a 15-minute 40°C heat drying test.
