If you’re a PC gamer, a good gaming monitor is a key to an enjoyable experience. If your monitor is lagging behind with a low refresh rate or lacking in resolution, it could be a real killer, both literally (within a game) and figuratively. The good news is, brands like Titan Army offer great value monitors so you can enjoy a high-spec gaming monitor without breaking the bank. The 2SA2QV 27” 4K Gaming Monitor is one of them – let’s take a quick look at what it has to offer!

Titan Army 2SA2QV features a 27” IPS panel with a 3840x2160 (4K) resolution.

The Titan Army 2SA2QV features a 27” IPS panel with a sleek, modern frame design that’ll fit into any gaming set-up. A 3840 x 2160 (4K) resolution means your graphics will be crisp and clear for a visually pleasing gaming experience. To top it off, the monitor delivers consistent colour temperate and crisp contrast thanks to HDR400, and 100% sRGB means you’ll get precise and accurate colours. The position of the monitor is height, pivot, swivel and tilt adjustable so you can enjoy maximum comfort.

The refresh rate is especially important when it comes to gaming. The refresh rate refers to the frequency that a display updates the onscreen image, so with a lower refresh rate, those small moments of action you miss could be the difference between winning or losing. While most standard monitors have a refresh rate of 60Hz, the 2SA2QV has a fast refresh rate of 144Hz which will make your games look super smooth and utterly awesome!

To get the most out of a high refresh rate, your graphics card (GPU) needs to keep up. The good news is, the 2SA2QV also features adaptive sync which will vary the refresh rate to sync it up with your GPU. Ultimately, this can help to eliminate tearing, stuttering and judder and was developed specifically for the video gaming industry.

If you're a hardcore gamer, something else you'll want to keep in mind is the response time. This essentially refers to how quickly your monitor can switch/transition from one colour or pixel to another, and is measured in milliseconds. The lower the response time, the better. Lower response times will ensure image ghosting is minimized, leaving you with better picture and motion quality. The 2SA2QV has a speedy response time of 7ms which is excellent for casual competitive gaming. Unless you're expecting elite performance to compete against the best of the best, this is enough for most gamers.

The 2SA2QV features a number of ports including DisplayPort, 2x HDMI, USB-C and USB-A. The latest generation of USB connection (USB-C) is capable of carrying more power and data at faster speeds, so you can connect more devices directly to your Titan Army 2SA2QV monitor.

The Titan Army 2SA2QV offers great value and will be a nice addition to many gaming setups. To check out other 4K gaming monitors, click here to browse our full range of gaming monitors!
