One of MSI’s new flagship monitors has just arrived in New Zealand and with a long list of top-end specs, it’s looking pretty impressive! Joining MSI’s Optix eSports line-up of displays is the Optix MPG321UR-QD. As with all in the Optix line-up, this monitor has been designed with gamers in mind and it delivers high resolution and high refresh gaming.

The Optix MPG321UR has a 32” IPS display with a 3840 x 2160 (4K) resolution to deliver fantastic clarity while gaming. It offers an ultra-fast response time of 1ms to eliminate screen tearing and choppy frame rates, and fast refresh rate of 144Hz. It has a 95% DCI-P3 color gamut with Quantum Dot coating, and is equipped with HDR technology to produce images with more details and a wider range of colors. That means you’ll get to enjoy accurate colours and a stunning visual experience that’ll draw you in when it’s game time.

In addition to playing games at a 144Hz refresh rate, PC gamers can also benefit from G-Sync compatibility which helps prevent screen tearing or stuttering, producing ultra-smooth lag-free gameplay. If you own a console, the Optix MPG321UR is a great solution for you too. The HDMI 2.1 inputs will let you run console games at 4K 120Hz. MSI provides console-specific settings and has run tests to ensure that both the device and the screen can offer the best performance.

MSI has designed this monitor to make you as comfortable as possible while gaming. It has an adjustable stand that you can tilt, lower, raise, and swivel, allowing you to easily change the position of the monitor for max ergonomics. MSI’s Mystic Light lets you add an extra touch to your setup. The gaming monitor lights provide a soft ambient light that can easily be synced with any other Mystic Light enabled gaming product. You can select any of the colors from the palette using your smartphone or the Mystic Light App to match your system style to your taste. Alternatively, you can simply turn on gaming echo, letting your monitor back light dance to music you play on the computer.
