Chances are your phone and laptop are filled with thousands of photos - now precious memories - piling up and accumulating, likely never to be seen again. We’re so accustomed to the convenience of doing everything digitally, that printing and displaying memories is too much effort for most of us. Tucked away on our devices, we’re far less likely to stop and appreciate them; but a smart frame from Lenovo puts these memories front and centre without having to print anything off.
Just last year, Lenovo introduced a new smart product for displaying digital images as art in the home or office. Called the Smart Frame, this 21.5-inch display transforms memories into the primary centrepiece of any room, with the added ability to display stunning pieces of art.
It’s not cheap, but unlike some digital frames, you’re not just paying for a glorified photo frame. The Lenovo Smart Frame has been designed to be a piece of home decor that fits into every aesthetic. It has built-in AI to curate your photos and a colour tone sensor to adapt the brightness and colour temperature of the picture to match the room.

If you ever get bored of a photo, you can change it with a hand gesture, or even display your photos as a slideshow. If you want a more artsy vibe, you can choose to display art pieces from Lenovo’s free library of licensed artwork. Thanks to the matte screen finish and an anti-glare coating, the frame could almost convince someone that the artwork displayed is real at first glance.
The Smart Frame comes with a 2-watt speaker and a microphone, despite there being no use for them at the moment. This does, however, future-proof the device which could mean Voice Control / Smart Assistant capabilities in the future.
If you’re not big on home decor or photos, it could be still very well worth keeping in mind as a gift for a loved one such as a parent or grandparent. If you're looking to make your home smarter, check out the huge range of smart home appliances!
