Stocks have just landed in NZ for the new SkullCandy Indy EVO series of true wireless earphones, and these latest versions are easy on the eyes, and also fit great in the ears!
With easy to use touch controls you can access most functions directly from your buds, allowing us to easily activate a voice assistant, answer an incoming call, skip tracks, crank the volume or turn on ambient mode to quickly hear more of what’s happening around us, all without reaching for our phones. Quickly comparing the first-generation SkullCandy Indy , Indy Evo buds are slightly smaller, with new ergonomics to help them be an even more comfortable fit.

The ability for each bud to connect independently is pretty neat, it means we can use just the one to access voice assistance, which is great for the office. When it’s time to head home pop in both while you’re on the commute and get lost in a good audio book, or your favourite album and zone out.
Once paired your skullcandy earbuds automatically turn on when removed from the case, they will automatically turn off when you pop them back in. You can either of turn them off with a long press of 6 seconds, and turn them back on buy long pressing again, though that’s a little quicker at just 4 seconds.
The built-in Tile™ technology integration is super cool too, something we hope to see more of in the future as it’s a really great feature for those who, like me, sometimes misplace our earphones. Tile works with technology that is built into the Skull Candy Indy EVO and once activated, they work in the same way as the classic tracking tile would normally, meaning you can call them and they’ll actually make a sound to help you find them, or you can view their last known location on a map, if out of earshot.
