As an exclusive launch partner of Wacom, we’re excited to announce the release of the new Wacom Cintiq Pro 27 – a digital pen display that’s purpose built for creative professionals such as illustrators, animators, graphic designers, photo editors, and more. The Cintiq Pro 27 combines next generation pen and touch technology with best-in-class screen, colour performance, and customisable ergonomic enhancements.
The Cintiq Pro 27 was defined and developed in conjunction with members of the global art and design community to deliver the most immersive and stable pen on screen experience to date. In combination with impressive design, engineering, and technology, Wacom have managed to create a product that offers an effortless and harmonious experience that’s bound to draw out inspiration.
"With the new Wacom Cintiq Pro 27, creative professionals can count on intuitive and natural-feeling pen and touch input, extremely accurate, factory-calibrated colour, faster refresh and other design features that allow users to comfortably and confidently produce and share work across the creative pipeline,” says Faik Karaoglu, Executive Vice President of Wacom's Branded Business Group.
The Cintiq Pro 27’s new display features virtually no parallax and latency with a refresh rate of 120hz (up from 60Hz in previous models), HDR Gamma Support, and beautiful 4K resolution. It has 98% DPI-P3 and 99% Adobe® RGB colour accuracy, and is Pantone® and Pantone SkinTone validated, providing an exceptionally accurate and true-to-life visual experience. While the display itself is larger than that of the Cintiq Pro 24, overall the graphics tablet is smaller than its predecessor with significantly thinner bezels and a slimmer design. The tablet also features ExpressKeys™ re-positioned at the new rear grip of the display with each key customisable to a shortcut of your choosing.
It comes with the new Pro Pen 3 which brings an immaculate pen on screen. The weight, grip and balance of a pen can make all the difference to how comfortable and natural it feels in your hand. Thankfully, Wacom has provided the ability to change the weight, barrel size and centre of gravity with interchangeable components that come with the pen. Additionally, the Pro Pen 3 has enhanced tilt recognition to add to it’s existing features: EMR (Electro-Magnetic Resonance) technology, 8,192 levels of pressure, battery-free operation, and three programmable side-switches.
Wacom has also added a new stand that matches the modern, sleek design of the new pen display. It's fully adjustable to meet virtually any working position and even supports +/- 20 degrees of screen rotation. For users seeking another stand option, the display does have VESA mounts for other OEM stands.
The new Wacom Cintiq Pro 27 is now available to pre-order at PB Tech. To browse the full range of Wacom graphics tablets, head over to Wacom's brand store.
