The design isn’t eye-catching, and that’s intentional. If you’ve been looking for clean lines and an absence of RGB, but with specifications that include a dedicated graphics card, then these latest HP VICTUS laptops are what you’ve been hunting for. The HP VICTUS is as comfortable in a boardroom as it is on a desk at home, feature rich, without flaunting it. Super-speed USB Type-A ports and the new Type-C allow for easy connection of your mouse, headset and docking station, with a multi-format card reader and HDMI 2.1 output too for those working on creative tasks or presenting. The built-in audio setup is great also, as you’d expect from a laptop sporting the name Bang & Olufsen.
Performance is excellent, and VICTUS has a range configurations available going from the NVIDIA GTX 1650 all the way up to RTX 3060, perfectly paired with both Ryzen and Intel CPU options.
Looking specifically at the Ryzen 5 + GTX 1650 version, as it’s the most affordable in the new range, we find the Ryzen 5 5600H 6 Core / 12 Thread CPU very capable indeed, and with the dedicated GTX 1650 graphics on top this laptop is ready for those who want to jump into games like Halo Infinite, Valorant and Multiversus with their friends. The 15.6” display is 1920x1080 resolution and runs at 144Hz, pushing out those frames like an absolute champion.
There is a larger version too, increasing the display size to 16.1” at 144Hz. This is a solid option for those with limited desk space or who want to use their new laptop a lot for work and play.
The new HP VICTUS Laptop range is available today in New Zealand, check out all the exciting new options and more in the massive HP Store!
