Have a Valorant team that’s looking to strut their stuff and see how they stack up against Oceania’s finest? AOC’s Rising Heroes - Valorant tournament is your opportunity. This online gaming event is available for gamers based in New Zealand and Australia and has free entry. This makes it a great starting point for people who are new to eSports!

Valorant is a free-to-play game, making this multiplayer tactical first-person hero shooter an awesome game to try out and learn some high-level tactics in. It also makes it more accessible to get your mates involved. The gameplay and art style is a bit of a mish-mash of CS:GO and Overwatch, so if you and your buds have enjoyed either of them, this game might be your next jam.

You’ll be able to watch all of the excitement on Twitch and Youtube if you can’t join the tournament itself. A perfect opportunity to hone your skills in prep for the next one!

The event qualifiers begin on March 27th, with another two on April 10th & finally on April 17th.

Once the qualifiers are played, the best Valorant players from New Zealand and Australia will go head to head, starting on the 8th of May and finishing with the final playoffs on the 6th of June.
