Today we’re taking a quick look at the fastest Gaming Monitors from Asus, LG, Philips, AOC, BenQ ZowieSamsung, Titan Army, and Acer!

A quick note for those who are new to ultra-fast displays and why we all want them; the HZ rate is basically a number of times your monitor can update/redraw the image on the screen - with 144Hz being able to do this up to 144 times per second! With these higher frame rates, all those missing images on the screen come together in a beautiful smooth motion that makes it much easier to target opponents - of course, our PC will need to be able to push out that many frames but that’s another topic covered in How to Choose the BEST Gaming Monitor for your Gaming PC - so back to the subject at hand!

We feel the need, the need for SPEED!

1. 280Hz 27" Asus TUF VG279QM Gaming Monitor

With G-Sync built-in, this Asus TUF gaming monitor is best suited for those running Nvidia graphics inside their PC, but it's also compatible with adaptive sync which is great news for those running with AMD Radeon, and that combined with the Extreme Low Motion Blur technology makes things super smooth with minimal ghosting.

HDR400 certification ensures vibrant colours that pop, the ergonomic stand provides easy adjustment in pivot, swivel, tilt and height for the perfect view. MSi are no stranger to competitive gaming and their OSD software is amongst the best, with an APP allowing for quick and easy tweaking of settings using your mouse and keyboard, rather than using the little red joystick on the back of monitor. There are also a bunch of special modes, such as night vision, which will also add to your gaming prowess.

The fast IPS panel provides excellent viewing angels, with a 1ms refresh rate that's great for eliminating ghosting, colours are excellent too with HDR400 certification. Elegent RGB path lighting is present on the back of the monitor too, this is fairly subtle and adds just a little glow to a wall that's close behind, and you can also wall mount this gaming monitor using VESA if you want to.

Combine all of the above with HDR400 for vibrant colours and a you've got the Titan Army 39A1QR 88.5" 165Hz gaming monitor, an excellent value super fast monitor in white!

7. 155Hz AOC Q27G2S IPS Gaming Monitor

With G-Sync this gaming monitor is designed to work with Nvidia Gaming PC builds, but it's also adaptive sync ready for those running with AMD Radeon in their PC. The bezel to screen is certainly narrow, but definitely not quite frameless as the name often implies, in reality, the screen starts an additional 6mm or so from the bezel on the top and sides, with the fat lower bezel being more accurate.

Marketing mishaps aside, the AOC 155Hz is certainly fast, well deserving of its place in the list, but also worth seeing side by side with other options so you can see the colour vibrance and bezel design for yourself.

8. 144Hz 27" LG UltraGear 27GL650F-B Gaming Monitor

11. 75Hz 24" LG 24MK430H-B (huh.. I thought you said top 10!?)

You might think this 75Hz monitor with hot air balloons pictured is a little odd in a list like this one... and you'd be right. but if your running and GTX 1650 + Ryzen 3 or similar combo within your system you'll likely find this monitor is perfect, and with LG gaming features this monitor is great for marathon sessions!
