Corsair is well known for their attention to detail, airflow, and stunning aesthetics, the new Corsair iCUE 5000T RGB ATX Gaming Case is no exception. This spacious case is an absolute dream to work with thanks to how much available space there is, its massive number of configuration options and its ease to cable manage with. Let's dive in a bit deeper and see what makes the 5000T tick…
First things first, how does it look? If you’re after the simple answer, great! It has a very unique design, coming together with some distinctive contours and angular accents, the 5000T certainly stands out. To further this distinctive look, it has 208 individually addressable RGB LEDs, so you can get this chassis looking exactly how you’d like!
Now on to a fairly important piece of the puzzle when it comes to PC cases. How easy is it to build in? Thanks to the spacious interior, there are a huge number of options, no matter if you’re planning an air or liquid-cooled configuration. You’ll be able to comfortably utilise 120 or 140mm fans in a plethora of combinations. There is also space for one 360mm radiator on the roof, and one additional 360mm radiator on the front or side position. This chassis also includes 3x LL120 RGB fans with 16 individually addressable RGB LEDs per fan controllable via PWM from 600 - 1,500 RPM, for powerful airflow and high impact lighting. This can be used in tandem with the included COMMANDER CORE XT and CORSAIR iCUE software to customise lighting with a wide array of vivid effects and patterns. Two combo drive trays and three SSD mounts enable multiple SSD and HDD combinations, up to 5x total 2.5in SSDs or 2x 3.5in HDDs. The motherboard tray with customisable fan mounts allows you to side-mount up to 3x 120mm fans or up to a 360mm radiator, enabling new flexible cooling options.
Corsair has added in a few additional builder-friendly features that make the cases a joy to build in. The removable airflow panels are made out of mesh for optimal airflow and are removable for easy cleaning and maintenance. The inside of the case can be accessed too-free, the side panels are hinged allowing you to get rid of some dust or upgrade one of your components in no time at all. Cable management with the Corsair cases has drastically improved over the last few years, the 5000T is no exception. The RAPIDROUTE cable management system keeps all of the mess out of sight. Just rout your major cables through a single hidden channel, with a huge 30mm of space behind your motherboard!
