DJI has taken its most popular folding drone and created two new versions, The Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom, both of which are featuring long battery life and the quiet blade design but with variations around the cameras each come fitted with.
Both drones are able to shoot high-quality 4K video at 100 mbps and store this footage via the built-in 8GB storage, which you can increase via the use of microSD slots. With the Mavic 2 being quite a large drone once unfolded, it's understandably pretty fast - capable of reaching speeds up to 70KMPH with safety sensors turned off, beginner pilots will be happy to know that both the Mavic 2 Zoom and Mavic 2 Pro come equipped with the 10 sensors needed for obstacle avoidance in all directions as well!
The blade design has been further improved and they're now quieter than ever too, which is always nice, though definitely not silent yet, if you're flying them beside another drone you can certainly hear a difference. An improved image transmission system (fancy name is OcuSync 2.0) is able to transmit live 1080p video to the screen of your phone via the controller, even at long range.
The Mavic 2 Zoom is actually pretty self-explanatory - it's capable of capturing video with 2x optical zoom. The Mavic 2 Pro model comes fitted with a premium Hasselblad designed camera with a big image sensor and can capture 4K HDR video!
